Job Description

As a Data Analysis Tutor, you will tutor beginners through hands-on training in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation. Your expertise will help students develop practical skills, preparing them for careers in data-driven industries.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in teaching data analysis
• Certification in Data analysis or visualization
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python
• Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to break down complex concepts into simple, understandable material
• Patient and supportive approach to student learning
• Residency in Ibadan (mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Teach core principles of data analysis, including statistics, data manipulation, and data visualization
• Explain data analysis concepts, tools, and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
• Develop and lead interactive classes, workshops, or one-on-one sessions
• Create and update curriculum materials, ensuring industry relevance
• Provide feedback and support to students on projects and assignments
• Monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement
• Collaborate with instructors to integrate data analysis into broader curriculum
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
